Privacy policy

The short version

Router has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. Your VPN profiles, credentials and host mappings stay on your phone. The developer never receives them.

What Router stores on your phone

VPN profiles you import, encrypted with AES-GCM under a key held by Android Keystore. That key can't be exported, so a profile can't be read on another device.
Username and password, only if you turn on Remember me. They're encrypted the same way, and you can clear them at any time with Forget.
Host mappings and the profile list (names and your last selection), in the app's private storage.

Android backup is disabled for Router, so none of this is copied to Google Drive backups. Uninstalling Router deletes it.

What Router sends over the network

To your VPN server: the connection your profile describes, including your credentials, and traffic to private IPv4 addresses and hosts you've mapped. Your VPN operator's own policy covers what they log.
DNS: names you've mapped are answered inside the app. Other lookups go to the DNS server your profile pushes if it has one, otherwise to your phone's normal DNS.
To router.abhishekm.work: when you open the app, it downloads version.json once to check for updates. That request carries only what any web request carries (your IP address and a generic user agent). No identifier, profile or usage data is sent.

Router doesn't inspect, record or sell your traffic or browsing history.

This website

The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes request data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site under its own privacy policy. The site sets no cookies, loads nothing from third parties and runs no analytics.
